Driveshaft structure and vibrations associated with it

The structure of the drive shaft is critical to its efficiency and reliability. Drive shafts typically contain claw couplings, rag joints and universal joints. Other drive shafts have prismatic or splined joints. Learn about the different types of drive shafts and how they work. If you want to know the vibrations associated with them, read on. But first, let’s define what a driveshaft is.

Higher CO2 emission standards and stricter emission standards increase the stress on the drive system while improving comfort and shortening the turning radius.
